The Absurd & Glorious (Draft 1)
There once was a crow with a top hat of bees
who cackled at shame and swung from the trees.
He said, “If you’re weeping, well cry like a song,
then juggle your sorrows and dance all night long!”
A possum in pearls read jokes to the moon,
a pigeon tap-danced on a ghostly bassoon,
while velvet-clad beetles blew kazoos of regret—
and somehow, you smiled (you’re not sure why yet).
So if you feel broken, too loud, or too weird,
just look for the ones who’ve already cheered—
they’ve tied up your fear
