Soffra The Hearth-Brave Vole Molar Fragment • The Whimsical Dear Ones
Caretaker Cairrowyn says:“She’s not the kind to knock. She just shows up with a warm blanket and the kind of silence that says,‘I’ve got you.’Soffra’s magic is quiet, but it lingers—like the smell of bread from a kitchen you thought was empty.”
Soffra says:“Oh hey. You don’t need to get up.I brought you a cookie. No, really—just sit.The fire’s still warm and there’s a good spot here beside it.I used to think bravery was big and loud—but turns out, it’s also napping when the storm says keep going. It’s sharing your last moss bun with someone who’s colder than you. It’s choosing peace even when panic is easier. If you’re tired, I’ve got space for your bones. If your heart’s aching, let it ache here. We’ll hum to it softly until it stops flinching.”
Caretaker’s Note: Soffra doesn’t fight monsters. She feeds the part of you that forgot how to receive. She is the quiet candle in the window, the hand on your back when the weight gets too heavy. She reminds us that healing begins when we stop. And sometimes, being still is the bravest thing you can do.
