Thimsy
The Hearth-Tale Tender Shrew Jaw Fragment • The Whimsical Dear Ones
Caretaker Cairrowyn says:“Don’t let her size fool you. Thimsy’s jaw may be small, but it has held enough words to rattle the moon and hush a storm. She’s a storyteller, a secret-keeper, a night-whisperer. And if you’ve ever cried quietly into your pillow, she’s probably already curled beside you, offering a tale with just the right kind of ending.”
Thimsy says: “Hello, love. I’m Thimsy.Small? Sure. But I’ve carried more stories than stars on a fog-less night. I was the littlest in the burrow—often packed into satchels by mistake.Didn’t mind. I like being close to things that matter.”
“I collect dreams, stitch them into petal pages, and whisper tales to keep the cold from creeping in. One time, I stood on a matchbox and told a tale so true it lit the fire back in everyone’s chest.”
“I don’t shout. I don’t need to. My voice wraps around the dark and makes it a little softer.”
Caretaker’s Note:Thimsy’s words don’t roar. They resonate. The kind of resonance that stays in your chest long after the lights go out. Her jaw was found wrapped in birch bark, beside a message scrawled in walnut ink:
“Some voices are soft. And still, they save us.”
